Aleutian Island Waterfowlers operates the largest fleet of layout boats and has aone of a kind collection of custom hand painted Emperor goose decoys including Floaters, Shells, Full bodies and Silos in all of Alaska. 100% of our Emperor Hunts take place over large spreads of decoys and will be filmed for our hunters. Emperor Hunting is done from Shore blinds and layout boats. Also Harlequin,Brant and Seaducks can be harvested. with our years of experience you can be assured you’ll always be safe. We recommend to blend in grey cover jackets and grey bomber style hats.

We take up to 6 hunters on our Deluxe Combo Emperor / Sea duck/Brant hunts with 3 guides. This provides the most personal services available. Our Emperor Goose hunts run 7 days with 6 full days of guided hunting if needed although generally we harvest a Emperor Goose in 1-3 days. We start our hunts the end of October and run until Dec 16th when the season closes. We provide all meals, lodging and fully guided hunting over decoys with boats, among with walk in hunts on local ponds streams and estuaries. The average temperature on our Guided Emperor Goose hunts ranges around 25 -35 degrees and we hunt in snow camo and grey camo for all layout boat hunts and depending on the conditions. Our normal backdrop is lightly frozen covered shorelines this time of year.
